"I paint when I look at a painting in progress, I paint when I look at people's faces, I paint in my sleep. I never stop painting--it simply is not always done on paper." Al

Early on, my dream of becoming an artist, fashion or interior designer faded when I
succumbed to the unsolicited guidance to get a ‘real’ job. Art courses were sandwiched in as electives whenever possible as I pursued the more acceptable graduate degree in psychotherapy from the University of Illinois. Art became a therapeutic
hobby while raising three sons and sharing a private practice with my husband, Noble at Accord Psychological, Inc, Naples, Florida where art therapy is a favorite treatment modality with children. (SelfHelpTechniques.com) My drawings are used extensively in the brain change work we created, Brain Body Balance. As
often as possible, I have continued to learn from various classes in painting, drawing and photography. The most recent and current teacher is Marco Bronzini, Naples, Florida.
Of late, time is more free to fulfill my dream of daily splashing color on canvases with no rules except what I see, hear and feel. My insatiable curiosity and need for
variety keeps me exploring various styles, techniques, mediums, color and light. I paint, photograph, and draw many ways and many subjects. My art is influenced by my passion for nature, animals, travel and my zest for life. The greatest inspiration is
my deep inner faith, joy and pervasive peace. I think of it as ‘painting from the inside out’.
Appreciate your stopping by. Hope you enjoy it. I had a blast creating...stop by anytime. New paintings are added often.
